Zenescope: Mystere

As we move closer to October 31st we'll be getting more and more Halloween posts. Including among them will be some tributes to some women from the Zenescope comics which connect the Halloween theme nicely. The following character is Mystere, one of the Zenescope protagonists with necromancy abilities.

Some of the other Zenescope posts on this site:

Mystere appears in the Zenescope series Day of the Dead and its Sequel Dance of the Dead as well a five issue mini-series named after her. She also guest stars in other Zenescope series such as Tarot.

Mystere's actual identity is Mary Medina. She grew up as an orphan and discovered she has the mysterious power to communicate with and control the dead which she uses for good. You can see looking at this character that she was heavily inspired by the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos. Though her powers in the comics seem to be influenced by Voodoo too. Her costume reminds me a little bit of Silver Banshee with Mary face taking on the appearance of a skull when she is using her powers.

Looking over Mystere's comics... this character tends to wear boots or shoes almost all the time. The images I was able to get depicting her barefoot are from Zenescope's incentive limited edition covers and swimsuit issues. They company sure knows how to hook in readers. From these images though we can tell that Mystere has some really nice feet. It would probably be a lot of fun to worship them. ^_^

All right everyone ...  that will be it for now. As always more to come soon!

A Triple Feeture today. ^_^ Three sexy models of Sword Art Online's Leafa. :-D

(Various webfinds of this cute blonde model)

Yet another reason I really need to watch Sword Art Online. ^_^

I love the swim suits she is wearing. :-D The green motif works well and she seems to be really cute. ^_^

Heel Turns Vol. 2: Sam Manson

No I'm not back yet... but I did schedule a few other sets besides the figure ones to go out while I was away. ^_^ It is time for Heel Turns volume II.

Sam takes on a villainess role in the Danny Phantom episode "Urban Jungle" where the plant themed ghost Undergrowth brainwashes her and makes her his second in command. As an added perk Sam's villain outfit was initially barefoot. O.O

One Animation

(These are from Danny Phantom Episode 43 )

More of Sam's feet can be found in this tribute to her character here:

I love the Poison Ivy Look Sam has going on here. She is so hot!! There's definitely a sexy bondage vibe to her villain character as well with the vine whips and human slaves motif that she has going. Keep to in mind that as an sexy goth, Sam is already really attractive to begin with. This cosplay just pushes her awesomeness off the charts. ^_^

Being under Undergrowth's control, Sam's free will as a "Bad girl" is limited but she's shown to be quite formidable. Her and Overgrowth successfully force Danny to go into hiding and take over the planet while he was away. It is only thanks to developing new powers that Danny is able to stop the two of them but it was an incredibly close call. ^_^

One of her most dangerously tempting moments in the episode is when Sam has Danny collapsed at her feet and she attempts to persuade him to give up and rule by her side. I don't know if I would have been able to resist such an offer. ^_^;

Ok everyone... that all for now but as always more to come. ^_^
