Samurai 8: Ann
She's one of the princesses of the Akagi Castle and her Samurai of Fate is Hachimaru himself. She first met Hachimaru during his Samurai training, she was cruel to him but later warmed up with him due to her only acting to hide her insecurity around other men. She then realized that Hachimaru reminds her of her brother due to their similarities even though Hachimaru stated that he is not like him. Though she does not wish to tell her Samurai about her past, she felt indebted to him for motivating her to hold onto the memories of her brother. She was an Nanashi (Nameless) person before becoming a Princess, the title given to nameless orphans in the region surrounding Akagi Castle. Left alone after the loss of her beloved mother, another Nanashi looked after her and named her Ann so she can have an real name despite not being blood-related to him. She is very kind and willingly help her friends and wanted to see the outside world. Her dream is to be the Princess who gets protected by a strong Samurai, but the only trait she wants from her Samurai is for him to be willing listen to her despite her clusminess and mistakes. She can boost an Samurai's abilities like his Samurai Soul tenfold by praying to him. These are from Chapters 22 and 38.

Not bad for manga only.
ReplyDeleteDan, this manga is short-lived as in just 43 chapters. It's a real shame too because it's from Masashi Kishimoto, the Naruto creator.
DeleteDan, did you reply my response here?
DeleteNice.
