:-D Like I said...triple feeture. How does Trudy Proud fit in with Hawaii? One of the great thing about the Saturday morning Disney cartoons is that sometimes they had some crossovers between different series. One of them involved the Proud family visiting Hawaii and getting to meet Lilo and Stitch. Neat!!

Apparently the series focuses on Penny Proud, a teenage African American girl who tries to balance her home, school and social life but somehow winds up in some wild situations. It's a fun comedy with a lot of heart.
Trudy is Penny's mother. She works as a veterinarian. She can be overprotective of her children but she means well. She tends to be more level-headed than her spouse who can be pretty wacky. She provides a voice of reason in her series giving her daughter good advice. She's not too soft and is quick to voice her displeasure if she finds her husband hanging around another woman. She seems like a nice character.
