Supergirl Celebration Part 12: Unbound Supergirl

Originally I was going to end the Supergirl series of posts with the Arrowverse Supergirl tribute but looking at the poll and seeing who the two Frontrunners are I’m extended the set for a bit just to give the My Adventures with Superman Supergirl another chance at a barefoot episode before I wrap this up. Added onto the growth of A.I. technology allows me to add a little bit more content for some versions of her who didn’t have any barefoot scenes. Which brings us to Today’s post…

 Superman Unbound Supergirl

This version of  her appeared in the animated movie Superman Unbound.  Unfortunately Supergirl while incredibly hot in this incarnation...does not go barefoot in the movie so I created a few A.I. images of her barefoot myself. The images in this post were created using Google's A.I. creation tool Gemini which is a great tool for creating A.I. Artwork.

Gemini has a enhancement featured called Nano Banana which allows users to edit images they upload. For best results it is good to start with a full body image. That proved pretty challenging as this version of Supergirl was very fast moving but I wound up using the panned up image above. From there I asked Gemini to create a version of the image where she is barefoot. It gave me the below result.

I thought I would play around with her feet a bit so I asked Gemini to add pink polish to her toenails producing the next image.

The pink polish didn't stand out that much so I asked Gemini to update her polish color to red which resulted in the below image. Gemini even helped to enhance the colors of her outfit itself.

I also prompted Gemini to create an image of Supergirl stepping on the viewer which resulted in the below treat.

From the above image I asked Gemini to created a version of the image where she was barefoot

I also requested for it to update the scene to space. 🌃

I tried this another image as well of Supergirl midflight

I uploaded the image and asked Gemini to create an version of the picture where she was barefoot.

Then I asked to remove Superman from the background for a cleaner shot!

From there I played around a little bit adjusting the image so she was flying towards you.

I also updated her pose a little bit requesting Gemini to have her show her soles to the viewer. The original image zoomed in on both her feet but I played around a bit asking it to pan out so we could see her entire body and adjusted the positions of her arm to create more dynamic shots resulting in the set below

I also asked Gemini to create an image of her performing a kick showing the sole of her foot. Which resulted in the following image.

I also requested to make her expression a little bit more playful when she is kicking you which resulted in the winking picture below.

Superman Unbound's storyline focused on Superman taking on Brainiac. It is a fun movie. The area where is really shines is  its animation. I really like Lois and Supergirl's character designs in this film. Supergirl is more of a side character  in this but has some good scenes. She is portrayed by the actress Molly Quinn who also voices Bloom in the Winx Club. This version of her is a rebellious teen with a chip on her shoulder but she is definitely a badass.

Another interesting piece of trivia is both Molly Quinn and the actress who plays Lois (Staina Katic) in this movie were both in a TV series together. They were part of the show Castle and worked together regularly.
