Ok...I'm a couple of polls behind with my tributes so let's catch up a bit. In the August poll of the month I asked the question "What was your favorite reason female characters go barefoot?" you guys picked domination as your top choice. Luckily Aeon Flux provides just such a scene. In one episode Flux knocks out Trevor and proceeds to tie him up making him watch as she dominates one of his soldiers with her feet.
:-) You gotta love a series that embraces fetish scenes. ^_^ I think between this and the first episode of the series, (See the earlier Aeon Flux post here) they basically covered all the major types of fetsishes that us foot fans might have.
Ok I'm not done yet...you know how I like to show foot scenes involving a character in all the mediums she was released in? Let's do that with Flux...
Comics
I found a 4 issue miniseries involving flux. The comic books don't emphasize the fetish elements the cartoon does nearly as much but they do show a couple of moments where Flux is barefoot.
Aeon Flux Movie
In 2005, Paramount released a live action movie of Aeon Flux that's loosely based on the series. One of the big disappointments of the film is that the title character doesn't go barefoot in it. However, here are some barefoot images of her actress Charlize Theron so that we can visualize how this version of Flux's feet look underneath her boots. ^_^
I think that I first saw Charlize in the movie Mighty Joe Young. I remember thinking that she was hot when I was watching the film and thinking her feet were like. She's really come a long way since then even winning an academy award. :-) It's nice to see that she's raked up quite a resume of barefoot scenes as well. ^_^

I really loved this cartoon. I'm a nut for bizarre, surreal stuff. :D It's a shame the movie was so bland and didn't have any of the series' style or symbolism. But Charlize Theron is crazy hot and she has lovely feet.

Yeah I didn't get a chance to see the film but I heard that it was pretty heavily criticized by reviewer and even the cartoon's director Peter Chung himself. They didn't even screen it for critics when it was released in theaters which is never a good sign. Charlize looks really hot in it though. If only the film was more like the cartoon.
DeleteOh yes, Peter Chung said he was embarrassed by the movie and didn't want to be associated with it. That must suck seeing a cartoon you put so much love into become such a crappy movie. :(
