Ok as promised here is the final Native American tribute from this set. I am sure you guys probably guessed who the remaining girl in the set would be. There is really only one Native American character with enough star power to be able to close out this set. :-)

Pocahontas is a rare Disney Princess as she is based on a historical person. She is the daughter of a Powhatan tribe chief. Like with most of their films Disney adapted her story for their younger audience. In the film Pocahontas helps to bridge the relationship between the Europeans and her tribe averting war.
She is a great character depicted as smart, brave intelligent and beautiful as well as kindhearted and sweet. She also has one of the memorable Disney numbers in film with the song Colors of the winds. In the film Pocahontas is shown to be really in touch with Nature and this get symbolized with her being barefoot as her feet are in constant contact with the Earth she walks on. Being in touch with her environment she is shown to be able to communicate with plants and animals using her heart to be able to read them.
The guest character in these tributes is Nakoma. She is a female character from Pocahontas's tribe and Pocahonta's friend. She is shown to be more serious and less playful then Pocahontas but she is really attractive as well.
I've mentioned this a few times doing Disney characters throughout the years but we have been really lucky with female characters from the company often having barefoot scenes or in some cases preferring not to wear shoes. It is great to see. :-D
