Clannad: Misae Sagara

Continuing with Clannad tributes, this next tribute is for the High School's dorm manager Misae Sagara.

Misae runs the dormitory that Tomoya's best friend Yohei Sunohara is staying in. She's shown to be very athletic and intelligent. She runs the dorm pretty strictly. She also adopted a stray cat that hangs around the dorms and looks after it. For most of the anime she has a minor role but she takes center stage in one of the episodes where her backstory is explained.

Some Minor Plot spoilers ahead:

Misae has a complicated backstory. She used to attend Hikarizara Private High School and was the school's student council president. During that period she forms a relationship with a boy who she meets. The boy says he has the ability to grant Misae any wish that she wants as a thank you for helping him while he was in the hospital. (Misae came to visit him while he was sick) Over time... the two of them form a friendship and eventually fall in love with one another. The episode later reveals that the boy is actually the Stray cat that Misae eventually adopts later on. He originally belonged to the boy Misae helped in the hospital and wanted to thank her for looking after his owner. Misae unaware of this makes her wish that her new friend could stay with her forever. To grant her wish... the boy returns to his cat form so he could remain by her side. 

When I was watching this anime I was alway thinking that Misae was hot and loved every she was on screen. I couldn't help be a little bit jealous of that cat getting so much attention from her. I wish I could be her boyfriend. ^_^
