More of Golden Darkness in this earlier tribute:

You guys may remember that I posted a figure tribute to Haruna Sarenji earlier this year. That set included a Yukata version of her as well. This model of Golden Darkness is from the same series of figures. The manufacturer of this model actually did several Yukata versions many of the To Love Ru girls. (Some of which you'll see in future tributes ^_^).

To Love Ru is a difficult anime to go through because there are so many series that it can be confusing what the watching order is. It a fun series with a lot of fan service scenes though and quite a sexy group of female characters to admire. I've only gotten a chance to see the first couple of episodes but I'm hoping to watch the series all the way through.

Golden Darkness is one of the really popular characters in this series. I haven't gotten up to her introduction in the anime yet but I know a lot about her. She is based on another character from the Black Cat anime/manga called Eve who I am more familiar with. (Black Cat was written and illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki who also developed the To Love Ru series. ^_^).  The two characters look very similar (Eve's hair is just a little darker) and share the same set of power... the ability to transform their bodies.  From what I've seen of Golden Darkness, she is really cool. As an assassin she is really powerful. I imagine that she's a lot of fun to watch on screen.

Ok... that's all for now everyone. As alway... more to come soon!

  1. Golden Darkness look like Eve from Black Cat from her appearance. I too had never gotten back to To Love-Ru due to how many installments are there. How can you keep up with everything?

    1. I've always thought the same thing that those two look alike I even sometimes called her Eve mistake.

    2. Is it because that both To Love-Ru and Black Cat were illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki?
